A huge THANK YOU to Davis Glass and the Reed family for their donation of a full length wall mirror for our Care Closet. Our very own alum, Nate Reed, came to bring it and install it for us today! It was so great to see him and catch up with him on this blistery, cold day. BES is so thankful to Davis Glass, thank you so much!

The Elementary School has started the establishment of a Care Closet. This closet will provide students with a range of essential items that can be borrowed or utilized as necessary. The inventory encompasses a diverse selection of items, including winter gear and bathroom toiletries. We anticipate the inclusion of food as well very soon.
We’d like to extend our sincere gratitude to the Bath American Legion for their generous donation, which has significantly contributed to the filling and organization of the closet.

Should you be interested in making a donation, please email jhinsman@bathschools.net or call the elementary office at 517-641-6771.
We kindly request the following items:

The elementary school library got a makeover over the December break. New book shelves and carpet were installed. We would like to thank our maintenance and custodial staff for the work they did to make this happen.

Congratulations to Mrs. Hallandal's 3rd grade class for winning the tech department pizza party drawing! First through Fifth grade classes with no damages to their chrome books last semester were entered into a drawing for a pizza party.

The Bath Bee-Botics Explore Teams finished off their season by participating in the Laingsburg Explore Festival. Students spoke with reviewers about how they applied FIRST Core Values during teamwork and about their archaeology project development.

The Laingsburg Explore Festival provided a great platform for students to showcase their learning and celebrate their season.
The Bee-Botics Explore Team had a great season learning about archaeology, core values, building and coding.

Bath Elementary STEAM Night brought together over 500 students and families for hands-on learning.
Students engaged in a wide range of STEAM challenges and real-world learning experiences.
Our Magic School Bus–themed STEAM Night featured activities in science, technology, engineering, art, and math.
Community partners provided demonstrations and interactive experiences across all STEAM areas.
Bath Elementary Students created their own Magic School Bus dioramas and coded an interactive experience.
Local businesses and organizations helped students explore real applications of STEAM concepts.
Hands-on activities allowed students to test ideas, solve problems, and experience STEAM concepts firsthand.
Families visited more than 20 activity stations presented by local businesses and organizations.
Mrs. Rhodes Y5's class has a great time with their middle school reading buddies who visit them once a week to read books together.

Third grade has a tradition of making some very creative turkeys each year at this time, here is a small sample of some of them for your viewing pleasure. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone, we hope you enjoy the holiday!

Thank you to everyone that donated to our Thanksgiving drive. Your generous donations made it possible to gather 30 Thanksgiving meals for local families here in Bath for the holiday!! That is 10 more than last year. Yay community!!
