🐾 Meet Bea! 🐾

Our new four-legged friend, Beatrice, is a 2-year-old yellow Labrador Retriever, who is in training to be a full-time school support dog. Everyone calls her Bea!

You may see Bea welcoming students at the beginning of the school day, walking through the halls during passing time, visiting classrooms, or spending individual time with students when invited.

Bea's favorite things include making new friends, helping students feel calm and confident, getting belly rubs, and sharing gentle hugs. She is excited to become part of the Bath Elementary family and help brighten someone's day!

Please join us this Wednesday, August 12th from 6pm-7pm at the Middle School Auditorium for our Bath Elementary Parent Information Night. You can find out more about Bea, along with a lot of other really important information and expectations for the coming school year! We can't wait to see you there.

🔬 Let's talk about what "STEM lab" actually means at Bath.

Lots of districts have a STEM room. Fewer have a SmartLab. And in the greater Lansing area, Bath is the only district where every student, K-12, gets time in one.

That means a kindergartner here starts building, coding, designing, and testing right away. It means a middle schooler doesn't lose access during the years most kids drift away from science. And it means a senior walks out having spent thirteen years in a lab most districts reserve for a handful of upperclassmen.

Same lab. Same equipment. Every grade, every student.

It's the kind of program you'd expect from a much bigger district. You get it here, in a building where your child gets personalized attention from every staff member.

🐝 Schools of Choice applications for grades K-12 close August 12 at 3:00 PM.

🐝 Schools of Choice is officially OPEN at Bath Community Schools.

If you've been wondering whether there's a school where your child is known, not just enrolled, this is your window.

Here's what families find at Bath:

🔬 A SmartLab for every student. Every single Bath student, from kindergarten through senior year, has access to a state-of-the-art STEM lab. We're the only district in the greater Lansing area that can say that.

🏆 A top-tier high school. Bath High School ranks #11 out of 51 public high schools in the greater Lansing area, according to U.S. News & World Report.

🤝 A community small enough to notice your kid. Our teachers know families by name. Our principals know students by name. That's not a slogan, it's what happens when you attend a school this size.
