Bath Elementary School is excited to welcome back our Michigan State University College of Education partnership in February, 2024. This partnership brings teachers-in-training to gain field experience, teaching literacy in a 1-on-1 setting.  

Many BES students will be paired with 1 MSU student, go to the Beehive, and be a participant in the MSU students' field opportunity. Sessions will be on Thursdays, 12:50 - 1:30 and take place only on days that BES and MSU are in session.  The purpose of this program is to provide MSU students the opportunity to learn.  BES students selected for this program are held to high expectations to allow MSU students the opportunity to learn.

It's been a great experience that we can't wait to repeat in February.

Our Kindergarten Round-Up will be April 10th and 11th this spring.  If you need to register your child for Kindergarten for the fall of 2024 please get him/her signed up with Jenny Hinsman at Bath Elementary, 517-641-6771 or [email protected]..  Your child must be 5 by September 1st, 2024 in order to qualify for Kindergarten.  We do offer a Young 5's program as well, there is limited space available, please let the school know if you have questions about our program.  Our school of choice window opens in May, you can still register for Kindergarten Round-Up if you live outside the Bath school district, and then apply for school of choice later when our window opens. 

BES will be selling snowflakes for $.50/each ALL of December.  December 11th through the 15th is the district wide “Week of Giving”. This fundraiser helps raise money to bring a holiday to families in our community. Parents and students at BES are welcome to purchase a snowflake(s) and write a message to a recipient(s)!  Or students can simply decorate them or put their own name on them.  We will decorate our lobby with the snowflakes and hopefully make it look like a blizzard hit!
