The middle school's 3 Bee-Botics teams competed in Mason for their second meet of the season on Thursday. Despite technical and mechanical difficulties, students worked together to field their robots and score points in each of their matches through autonomous movement, shooting artifacts into the goal, and ending the matches in the correct final position.

Today Mrs. Vogl's 4th grade class had the pleasure of honoring one of our very own students, Alivea Cole! By wearing blue, we were able to show our love and support for her on her 1 year diagnosis of Type 1 Diabetes. November is Diabetes awareness month and we are so lucky to have Liv in our classroom who shows us how to practice courage, resilience and bravery every day!

The girls golf team finished 6th out of 18 teams at the state meet which was held at Katke Golf Course located at Ferris State University. Freshman Addilyn Duflo led the team with a total score of 160 and finished 2nd overall. This is the best individual finish the golf program has ever had. Junior Sophia Perales had her personal best 95 on the second day and a total of 198 for the tourney, followed by freshman Hattie Lalonde with a 200 total. Sophomore Mya Vietzke rounded out the scoring with a 224. The team says goodbye to senior Aubrey Dunckel who was their 5th scorer, the team will miss her positivity and sense of humor that kept everyone loose. The Bees were the youngest team at the state meet and will look to compete for the state title next fall.

Big day for Coach Bismack and our amazing BHS Cheerleaders at Ford Field! As part of the Lions’ Touchdown in Your Town program, the team was recognized on the field at today’s game. Not only did the girls get to attend the game for free, but the Detroit Lions are also awarding $7,000 to help grow and improve the cheer program. Huge thanks to the Lions for supporting youth athletics and showing love to our BHS family! #TouchdownInYourTown #BHSpride #FordField #OnePride

We are looking forward to a great school year and are excited to announce we have teamed up with Nutrislice, a Digital Dining Solution! You will find nutritional, allergen and carbohydrate counts for all items on our menu. Check it out at https://bathschools.nutrislice.com/

The link can also be found on the Food Services page on our website and on the BCS app in the dining section for each building.

One free breakfast and one Free lunch will be available to all K-12 students through September 30, 2025. The Michigan School Meals program, which pays the difference for our paid and reduced-price meal students, may be eliminated September 30th. While this is wonderful news to start, there may be a need to add funds to your child's account for breakfast and lunch after the deadline.

If you are curious if your student would be approved for benefits, please fill out the following page below and hand it into the office at your child's school.

https://www.michigan.gov/en/mde/Services/food/sntp/topics/free-and-reduced-price-school-meals-application

There are programs that are impacted by our applications for the free and reduced lunch program.  AP testing fees, as well as Pay-to-Participate for sports through our schools, are waived.  In addition, funding is given for the summer Eat Up Meet Up program and Summer EBT Benefits.

Even though students are provided with free meals, please consider filling out the application.
