A big thank you to everyone who made the BHS Special Olympics Unified Basketball game such a success!

We’re especially grateful to the students who participated—you brought energy, teamwork, and heart to the court, and it showed.

Thank you as well to our supportive parents, dedicated staff, and administration for helping make this event possible.

What an incredible example of community, inclusion, and school spirit! 💙🏀 We look forward to future events like this!

Congratulations to five Bath High School students inducted into the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) on April 14! They were among the 40 Clinton County students honored at the CCRESA induction ceremony.

NTHS induction is a meaningful recognition of hard work and dedication in Career & Technical Education. We are proud to celebrate Drew Prince (CAD), Tayler Cronk (Allied Health), Natalie Fournier (Sports Medicine), Molly Jonas (Early Childhood Education), and Jaden Leyrer (Welding) (not pictured) on this well-earned honor.

Founded in 1984, the NTHS is the nation's honor society for CTE, recognizing students who demonstrate outstanding achievement and a commitment to career development, leadership, and service.

Bath High School Bee-Botics completed their second and final competition this past weekend and there is no doubt that this team learned a lot. It’s bittersweet to see the season come to a close but they worked hard and now these Bees will cheer on their friends at Laingsburg High School as they move on to States! Go Red Thunder Robotics, Team 7166 and as always thank you for all of your help and support!

This weekend, the robotics team competed in its first competition of the season at H.H. Dow High School in Midland. Throughout the weekend, the team encountered difficulties and learned to problem-solve so they could show up to each match with Karl (robot) ready to give it their best. The students learned a lot and enjoyed competing, ultimately bringing home the Rising All-Star Award. The Rising All-Star Award celebrates the team that has persisted through challenges, despite the difficulties of being young.

Bath High School Robotics Team Update:
This season, we were selected to receive a Swerve Bundle donation from CTR Electronics and West Coast Products. This donation includes parts to build and use a swerve drive, rather than the tank drive we used last season. Building the swerve drive would allow us to achieve superior maneuverability and the ability to apply full power in any direction. This donation includes parts that would cost us more than four grand on our own.
We started off the season by attending a kick-off event at Laingsburg High School, where three schools and more than 80 students participated and watched the game reveal for this season.
We are currently waiting to receive our swerve drive bundle donation, as it hasn't arrived yet. In the meantime, we are working on building the top portion of our robot, and we hope to attend a workshop next weekend to pick up and build our swerve drive.

Ms. Clavelli's Yearbook class went on a field trip to Central Michigan University and visited the College of Communication, Journalism, and Media. Students chose different seminar classes to attend, with topics including advertising and social media, Yearbook, and making a career in PR, Crisis Communication 101, Live TV Production, E-Sports Broadcasting, Emerging media like AI, Stage fright, and more. They also toured the facilities and learned about their broadcasting, news channel, their newspaper, and the different events they cover. They also visited their robotics lab and got to interact with the robotics pets they bring into nursing homes to improve the daily lives of the elderly residents.

The girls golf team finished 6th out of 18 teams at the state meet which was held at Katke Golf Course located at Ferris State University. Freshman Addilyn Duflo led the team with a total score of 160 and finished 2nd overall. This is the best individual finish the golf program has ever had. Junior Sophia Perales had her personal best 95 on the second day and a total of 198 for the tourney, followed by freshman Hattie Lalonde with a 200 total. Sophomore Mya Vietzke rounded out the scoring with a 224. We are looking forward to a great school year and are excited to announce we have teamed up with Nutrislice, a Digital Dining Solution! You will find nutritional, allergen and carbohydrate counts for all items on our menu. Check it out at https://bathschools.nutrislice.com/

The link can also be found on the Food Services page on our website and on the BCS app in the dining section for each building.

One free breakfast and one Free lunch will be available to all K-12 students through September 30, 2025. The Michigan School Meals program, which pays the difference for our paid and reduced-price meal students, may be eliminated September 30th. While this is wonderful news to start, there may be a need to add funds to your child's account for breakfast and lunch after the deadline.

If you are curious if your student would be approved for benefits, please fill out the following page below and hand it into the office at your child's school.

https://www.michigan.gov/en/mde/Services/food/sntp/topics/free-and-reduced-price-school-meals-application

There are programs that are impacted by our applications for the free and reduced lunch program.  AP testing fees, as well as Pay-to-Participate for sports through our schools, are waived.  In addition, funding is given for the summer Eat Up Meet Up program and Summer EBT Benefits.

Even though students are provided with free meals, please consider filling out the application.
